I applied on LinkedIn and had an initial chat with a recruiter from the staffing agency. Then, I spoke with the team lead and a technical expert. The last step was a panel interview where I had to give a presentation on a technical solution design for a given scenario. They offered me an hourly contract with no set end date. I tried to negotiate a 10% pay raise, but they wouldn't improve the benefits, which were really bad. I ended up accepting another offer.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Our company deals with thousands of landowners, leading to a lot of emails in one inbox. Right now, we manually sort these emails, categorize them, and if needed, create a ticket in SAP. This takes time and is error-prone. We need a smart automation solution to make this better. How would you approach this?

This whole thing took 51 days. There were 3 live interviews with 4 people. If someone on the panel can't make it, they just keep rescheduling more interviews to suit their schedule. They'll even push you to interviews with additional managers without telling you it's for a different role. It's a very disorganized company, a complete mess. After those 3 interviews and 51 days, I never heard back. The role was still posted 98 days later.

We had dinner after the university career fair, and then the next day, I interviewed on campus. The employees were really nice and easygoing, genuinely good people. The interview itself wasn't technical; they mostly asked about my experiences.

First I had a phone interview, and then they flew me out to their office. While there, I met with several individuals and groups, including engineers and superintendents. I also had a one-on-one meeting with the VP. The interviews felt comfortable, and we discussed my experience. They also asked about some technical challenges they were currently facing. Overall, it was a positive experience.
