First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SlingTV.
Product Manager
The recruiter took a while to respond and didn't seem to know much. The testing phase felt a bit much, with two easy tests and then a really difficult deductive reasoning test that's only for certain pay grades.
- Can you describe how you manage your workload and balance competing priorities?
Partner Marketing Manager
The interview process involved a sequence of phone calls with various stakeholders, followed by a panel interview. The whole experience was really smooth and efficient. I really enjoyed this and had to decline for other reasons but recommend checking out Sling.
- Tell me about your background in D2C marketing.
- Are you open to relocating to Colorado?
- How would you evaluate the success of a program or partner campaign?
Partner Marketing
My process took about 6 weeks because it was during the holidays. It kicked off with a phone screening, followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager for the team, since I was applying remotely. Then, there was a virtual panel interview with team members. The final round involved flying to Denver for an in-person interview with the SVP and two VPs in my department, plus one non-technical interview. I also completed 4 exams covering logic, reasoning, and personality. About a week after the final round, I got the official offer.
- Can you share some examples of performance-based marketing or advertising campaigns you've planned and executed in past roles, and describe how you evaluated their success?
Manager
The process was slower, but the recruiter kept in touch. I wasn't a fan of the assessments. Overall, I'd rate it a 6/10. I don't understand why the CEO needs to approve all offers. The team seems good, but they are a bit disorganized due to having a lot going on.
- What does CPAW signify to you?
