After training, there's a comprehensive test that must be passed to advance to the center. Typically, you'll then shadow an experienced counselor.

The interview process for this role wasn't too tough. The hiring manager shared a lot of info about the company, the specific job, and what to expect. They asked a couple of questions about my previous jobs. Honestly, I felt like they had already made up their mind to hire me based on my resume, so the interview felt like more of a formality. But, once I got to the training part, it was definitely a 'sink or swim' situation.

I spoke with the area manager initially, and she suggested I connect with the local branch, mentioning they might need a part-time employee. I proceeded to the interview at the local branch, completed the entire process, only to be informed they do not hire part-time staff. During the interview, I was asked rudely about the last time I had success with weight loss, which felt inappropriate.
