Industrial Maintenance Technician
So I applied online, then there was a screening. The big step was a QCM test with math, physics, logic, and English questions. They wanted to see if we could solve problems and understood the tech stuff, not just memorize. It was all pretty organized and clear.
- QCMs about math topics
- Questions on basic physics
- Questions testing logic and reasoning

- Basic English questions, and tell me about the company.
Electronics Technician
The hiring conference started with an "ice breaker" where we introduced ourselves, our career goals, and chose a favorite color from four options. This color determined a task we had to perform for the group, like acting out a cartoon character or singing a song. This was followed by a couple of hours of company presentations. Then, the group was divided into teams for a Jeopardy-style game to test our company knowledge and teamwork. We then had a buffet dinner where recruiters and managers interacted with candidates to get to know us better personally. After dinner, there were more team-building tasks, including building something with changing requirements. Before heading to the training facility, we were given coveralls. The recruiter suggested going to the bar to socialize. The next morning, we took a bus to the training facility and spent 4-5 hours touring as a group, talking with recently hired techs. Upon returning, we had time to change for one-on-one interviews. The questions in these interviews were quite general. The whole process is designed to identify candidates who can handle high stress and less-than-ideal attitudes.
- You have 8 blocks that seem identical in size, but one is heavier. Using a balance scale at most twice, how do you find the heavier block?
- What's the reason manhole covers are circular?
