It was a good interview experience for someone new to the job market. I spoke with two managers: the manager of the supply chain team and the manager of the smaller team I would have been assigned to. I heard back very quickly and received the offer the same day.

It took about 8 months from application to hearing back. First, I had a webcam interview with HR that went for about 45 minutes. They then invited me for an in-person interview the following week. I could tell from the start of the in-person meeting that it wasn't going to work out. The hiring manager had an old version of my resume, from over 8 months prior. I felt my age might be an issue with the younger team, and they seemed to dismiss my past experience. The interview itself was pretty standard. They told me to circle back with HR. I did, but my HR contact, who was communicative before, stopped responding. I got an automated rejection email late Sunday night. Checking my profile, I also saw I was rejected for another role I hadn't even interviewed for yet. It felt like a huge waste of my time, especially since I had to take time off work for it.

The interview process started with a video call that lasted up to an hour. It was pretty straightforward and a lot was discussed, with numerous questions asked. The recruiter, who I initially thought was curt via email, turned out to be quite pleasant during the call. Although I was told it would be a behavioral interview, it surprisingly included technical questions and queries about my coursework, which I was comfortable answering. I received an invitation for a second interview, an in-person meeting with the managers, within 2-3 days. This second interview was held at their office and only took about 15 minutes, which seemed like a short time given the travel involved. The manager was approachable, and the conversation was enjoyable. It felt like they had already made their decision after the first interview and this in-person meeting was more of a formality.
