It was an online interview where they tried to make me feel comfortable. It was pretty straightforward. First, I had to do a presentation about a personal project I worked on. After that, there were some technical questions and also some scenario-based questions about debugging and why it's important.

Had a quick intro chat, then they asked about my background. Then they surprised me by asking about fundamental CS topics, which felt weird after so many years out of school. I also got a quick coding task in a basic online editor, which felt like it was thrown together last minute. When they asked if I had questions, I told them I didn't see myself working there, and they just laughed. I left feeling pretty bad about the whole thing; their reaction seemed unprofessional and uncalled for.

I had a Karat interview where we spent 10 mins on runtime analysis of algorithms. Then, there were 3 LeetCode questions: 1 easy and 2 medium, focusing on graphs and trees. The final round was in Houston, TX in Oct 2023. It started with a 7-minute technical presentation, followed by 3 technical rounds. The first two rounds covered my resume, the presentation, system design, OS, OOPS, and DBMS topics. The last round was a LeetCode hard question. I haven't heard back since.
