Behavioral Technical Presentation

It included two skills assessment interviews, an interview with the practice director, and a meeting with the GM. It was very conversational, and focused on both skills and approach. This was several years ago, but now being in a hiring position, the process is very much the same.

It was three rounds total. One round was face-to-face and the other two were virtual via Teams. Senior Directors and above asked a mix of technical and functional questions. It was pretty informal and they really focused on whether I'd fit the company culture.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter who was really diligent and gave me a lot of info. There were 4 interviews total: 1 with the hiring manager done remotely and then 3 in person. The hiring manager interview felt really positive and enthusiastic. The 3 in-person interviews weren't super hard, but the skip level manager was really rushed and didn't ask anything about the role or even behavioral questions. We spent most of the 30 minutes talking about growth accomplishments in other segments, which was interesting but not really related to the role or my experience in the regulated industry, especially since the company is entering a new market. It really felt like they already had someone picked before I even interviewed, which turned out to be true a few days later.
