Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

Recruiter contacted me about a week after I applied. They wanted to chat about my background. The recruiter was super helpful, giving me a heads-up about what to expect in the next interview and the overall process. Then, I had a 50-minute in-person meeting with the hiring manager. It felt like a chat, and we both asked and answered questions. They were definitely looking for specific skills and experience. I heard back the next day to schedule the next interviews. After that, I had a series of in-person 1:1s with people I'd be working with. These were also very conversational. It was clear what they were asking and why, and there was plenty of room for discussion and questions. They really appreciated good questions. I didn't end up getting an offer, but the recruiter called to let me know and gave me really useful feedback, which is something you don't get often. The recruiter was awesome, and everyone else I met was great too. Based on my interactions, this seems like a great place to work.

Behavioral

The interview process was quite informal and conversational with HR about a Google Cloud Tool. I had implemented this tool for my current employer about 4 years ago and have led teams focused on this area. I was actually one of the first people in Germany to implement this tool, working closely with Google as a pilot project. I have a total of 9 years of experience in the Machine Learning domain. In the end, I was emailed that I was rejected due to insufficient work experience. While I understand there wasn't a perfect match, the reason given doesn't feel entirely accurate. I suspect it might have been a cost issue.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring process was quite detailed, with a strong emphasis on consultative and situational inquiries. Since my background seemed suitable for several different practice areas, they allowed me to talk with multiple teams to see where I'd best fit and make the most impact. They also placed a significant focus on cultural alignment to ensure it was a good match for both sides.
