First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Skyline Chili.
Server
I got to the restaurant a bit early and was offered a drink while I waited in a corner. The manager was really nice and welcoming. The staff seemed to be working well together, interacting with each other and customers while doing their jobs. My interview started right on time. They offered me the job and told me when my orientation would be before I left.
- What makes you want to work for Skyline?
Machine Operator
The work environment was really something else. I've never seen so many people who genuinely seemed to love their jobs as the ones at Skyline. I was a nervous kid on my first-ever job interview in high school. Everyone there was super friendly, and the place was kept really clean. While it wasn't exactly fast food, they aimed to get food out within 3 minutes of ordering. It felt like everyone took real pride in their work, and it was a great starting point. You learn a lot of useful skills there, like how to deal with customers and juggle multiple tasks. Plus, the job helps you grow up a bit as you talk with people of all different ages.
- What do you think is the most crucial aspect of working at Skyline?
- What makes you want to be employed at this company?
Crew Member
After submitting an online application with Corporate Skyline, it's beneficial to follow up in person or by phone to make a personal connection. You might hear back for an interview about a week after that. Typically, there will be at least two interviews, and sometimes even a third. Remember that a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are really important to Skyline.
- Can you tell me about a challenge you faced in a past restaurant job and how you handled it?
Shift Manager
When you arrive, you'll ask for the hiring manager. They'll come out to greet you and ask you to sit down. You'll need to sign some papers and complete a personality quiz. After that, there will be a few quick questions about why you think you'd be a good fit for the company. Based on that, they'll either invite you back for training or not.
- What made you decide to apply for this position?
