Phone interview with HR and department management. The conversation was tense overall. In the background, I could hear the recruiter classifying me as unsuitable after the first two questions. Demotivating during the conversation for me and for a phone participant, one should not whisper to each other. Otherwise, a typical job interview, typical questions. The rejection came as expected. I would have wished for more professionalism. Otherwise, a phone interview is a good idea, as it doesn't incur any travel costs.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview started with a phone call, then I went in person. The manager seemed really stressed and didn't ask much about my past work. It was mostly about how I'd manage doing many things at once and deal with various scenarios. Then, HR and a transportation manager joined, and they asked more about employee relations. The transportation manager gave me a tour, and as we walked, they asked for my thoughts on different tasks. It finished with me agreeing to a basic background check.

I applied online and then got a call from the HR manager for an in person interview. Round 1 was with the Department manager and HR on the same day. Later that day, I interviewed with 3 more people, including the Director of Ops, and finally the GM. That same day, I was sent for a drug test at Medport facility at JFK airport. I got the job offer 2 days later.
