I applied for this role on LinkedIn, it was my dream job. A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn 4 days after, and we set up a call. She asked a lot of questions during the call but seemed distracted by notifications which made it feel a bit unprofessional. She apologized but it didn't feel sincere. I thought the interview went well and she said I'd hear back by the end of the week. I didn't hear back, which was disappointing, but maybe it wasn't the right fit.

The interview process involved a meeting with the COO. The COO was late and displayed an arrogant, condescending attitude, focusing the entire conversation on himself and his board memberships in other apps and investments. He allocated very little time for me to discuss my experience and showed no interest or attention to what I had to say. I'd advise against working with these entitled 'app bros' who seem to think they're superior to everyone else.

I had two interviews for the Social Media Manager role. The first was with HR, and the second was with the Director/Hiring Manager. Both interactions were pleasant. The Hiring Manager seemed really keen, even saying he'd have HR set up meetings with the rest of the team ASAP, which made me feel like I was moving forward. But then, nothing. I got totally ghosted. I reached out to HR a week and a half later, and she said she'd have an update the following week. Two weeks after that, I found out through social media that someone else got the job. It was pretty disappointing to be led on like that and then just get ghosted. It felt unprofessional.
