Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process involved an initial AI interview that could last over two hours depending on your answers. This was followed by a technical round focusing on Node.js and React coding. The third technical round was particularly problematic; the interviewer, seemingly only familiar with Java, conducted a JavaScript interview. They insisted on seeing my current company's code and the product, which is not only legally questionable but also inappropriate for an interview. To make matters worse, they asked about salary expectations during this technical round and weren't technically proficient in JavaScript, resorting to searching for questions online. I was rejected after this round, so I'd advise against interviewing here as it seems like a waste of time.

Behavioral Presentation

it was 3 stages, first i spoke with the recruiter, which went well. I then spoke to a senior manager in the US, which again went well. Then I spoke to the hiring manager, who was very positive and had no issues about my experience. I received all of the key buying signels including when was I available to join. I felt that it went so well, that an offer would be on the table. However since the last interview, they have ghosted me. No feedback at all and considering the whole process was seamless and moved quickly, at the most I expected some critical feedback on why I did not secure the role. I would not recommend them as they are totally unprofessional and if they cant at least send a dear John letter as I took time out of my daily schedule to take the meetings.

Behavioral Technical

I got an email from a recruiter to set up a phone screening. They mentioned I'd talk to the hiring manager next. During that chat, he kept saying my examples were perfect for what they needed. I asked what kind of person would do well, and he said they need someone a bit aggressive. As a person of color and woman in tech who's been called 'too aggressive' for holding people accountable, I thought, 'Wow, a change!' I explained I've had to be direct with coworkers to get things done, but I was still polite. The hiring manager then said I'd meet two other team members and a product person, and that someone would contact me to schedule it. Two days later, I got an auto-rejection, which was weird. I responded, and it took them over a week to get back to me, saying they chose someone else. That's fine, but the whole process was pretty confusing.

Behavioral Technical Other

It was a standard process with 2 virtual interviews. First, a recruiter call to go over the basics, then an interview with the hiring manager. They had considered a technical interview but decided to go with professional references instead. I had interviewed for a different role in July 2023 and was rejected, but they reached out about a week later for this position and we started the process in Aug 2023.
