The interview process included two in-person interviews with an internal recruiter, after which I met with various members of the management team. The first interviewer made me feel comfortable right away with a welcoming atmosphere and demonstrated they were prepared by discussing my CV. The questions focused on me as an individual, my experience, and how it would benefit the role, which I liked because some interviews focus too much on past experience instead of other qualities. After that, I met with management team members individually for similar discussions about the company and the role's responsibilities. These conversations also touched on personality, skill sets, and previous experience, making it a well-rounded interview that didn't make me feel stressed. It was a relaxed but professional environment, and it made me feel like I wanted to join the company!

First I met with Vicki, the internal recruiter. She was really nice and made me feel comfortable. We chatted about my CV and past experiences and why I left my last job. It felt more like a conversation than a typical interview, which was great. Vicki then told me about the company's goals and growth plans, and how the internal recruiter role fits in, plus future career progression. After that, I met the CEO, Carl. He also made me feel relaxed, and it was more of a chat, setting a good vibe for the rest of the interview. We mostly talked about my previous recruitment experience and my future ambitions and how they align with the company. He also shared more details about the company's long-term plans.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a very straightforward process. Everyone was very friendly from the start. All steps were communicated clearly. The whole process involved two telephone interviews with the HR and a Senior member of the team, two face-to-face interviews with the Team Leader and the Director and a Trial day.

Behavioral Other

Getting a response was really tough. I went through all the phone and in-person interviews, and then after that, I waited for ages to hear back. I followed up multiple times with no response for days. They said they'd get back to me, but they never did. And then, out of the blue, after waiting for days, I got a rejection email. It was a really bad candidate experience. If they want to be seen as a trusted brand, the first thing they need to fix is how the recruiting team treats candidates. Not giving updates, not responding, and making candidates wait in the dark for days shows zero respect.
