My interview at SOM was great. The team was super welcoming and professional. They asked really thoughtful questions that let me show off my technical skills and how I solve problems. It felt more like a chat than an interrogation, which gave me a good vibe about their culture. Overall, it was a cool and inspiring experience, and I'm even more pumped about potentially joining their innovative projects.

They had me start with a quick self-introduction. Then, they reviewed my portfolio. They asked me some specific questions related to my portfolio and about me personally. The interview wrapped up with some positive comments on my work and a few questions regarding my software skills.

They are looking for grad students for internships or people with professional structural engineering experience. The interview was a panel with HR and engineers. They asked about my experience, extracurriculars, classes, and general structural engineering knowledge.
