First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Skender.
Corporate Office
There are two steps where you meet different people on the team. If you do well in the first meeting, they'll have you come in for a second. They're really good about keeping you updated, so you're not left guessing.
- Tell me about your background and the culture you worked in.
Assistant Project Manager
It was smooth, no hard or tricky questions. They explained their benefits and company culture.
- What is your team culture like?
- What do you know about Skender?
- Why are you looking for a change?
Project Engineer
The interview was virtual and the questions weren't too hard. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I met with people from the Healthcare commercial and multifamily teams. They also offered a sign-on bonus.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Field Engineer
I had 2 visits for the interview. I talked with field operations people and leaders. Both were pretty chill, like getting to know each other. They checked what I knew and asked a lot about my past work. It was a pretty easy interview process. Skender seemed like a great place to work. The company and people seemed laid back and I could tell they cared about their employees. I ended up taking another offer, but Skender seemed like a top employer to me.
- How did you handle stress when you had to do more than one job at the same time?
