I interviewed for the Senior Implementation Consultant job. The company seems cool but the interview process was disorganized. I had 2 back-to-back phone-screen interviews and was promised communication about the next stage. I found out the position was filled as the posting had been removed but never heard from the interviewer. All my follow-ups and requests for feedback were ignored. It was disappointing and I would expect better. Not a positive experience overall.

The interview process was pretty standard for this field. It had four steps: first, a chat with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by a technical interview, and it wrapped up with a group interview. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and made me feel comfortable. It was actually one of the better interview experiences I've had. The person who did the last interview told me I did well and that I should get ready for the fourth interview. At first, I thought this was a really good way to do interviews, making it less stressful. But then, a week later, I got an email saying they went with someone else. That kind of ruined it for me after I initially thought it was a great process.

First interview was with a recruiter. Second was with the Hiring Manager. Third was with a peer in the same role. The first two interviews were pretty standard. The third one, however, was totally unprepared. They asked like 2-3 questions in the first 5 minutes and then just handed it over to me to ask my questions with 25 minutes left. I followed up with a thank you note and then two more follow-ups to the recruiter about next steps. It took them two weeks to let me know they were moving forward with another candidate.

I applied online and a couple weeks later, I spoke with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked me a bunch of questions about my background. It was clear I didn't have a lot of marketing experience, so they asked for work samples. I sent those and was told they weren't moving forward because I lacked marketing team experience. I told the hiring manager I planned to use the samples in other interviews, and she gave me some good advice and context.
