Applied online in May 2018. Got a text from the recruiter about 4 weeks later asking if I was still interested. Texted back yes and scheduled a phone interview with the recruiter. The recruiter was nice and talked about the job. He said he'd pass my info to the hiring manager and let me know about next steps. The next week, the recruiter called to set up an in-person interview because both hiring managers would be in town. We met at a hotel lobby for the interview. We discussed the role and my background. The hiring manager seemed keen and started talking about training and pay. After the interview, he said I was a finalist and wanted me to do a DISC assessment. I did the assessment the next day and sent a thank you note to both hiring managers. The next morning, I got an email saying thank you and that they'd be in touch. Never heard back from them. No email or call from the recruiter or hiring manager.

I found the job on a job site and the Operations Manager called me the next day for an interview. I talked to both the Ops Manager and the Regional Ops Manager at the same time. They asked pretty normal questions, and I got the job and started working the next week.

The hiring and interviewing process for this specific position was quite enjoyable and fair. The management team really valued my background and qualifications. They gave me a very clear picture of the job responsibilities, rewards, and challenges. I also got to meet all of the pertinent employees with whom I would be working and supporting.

They went over the job responsibilities. They asked if I could work overtime and if I was a team player. There was definitely more to it, but those are the basics.
