It wasn't too bad. Communication was easy. The interviewer was a bit dry and didn't have many questions or much to say about the company. I don't mind talking, but it felt like they would have wanted to ask more specific things.

The interview began with a phone screen, followed by two rounds. The first round involved meeting the team (a 2:1 with the team members and then a 1:1 with the hiring manager) where they asked basic questions. The second round included a written test on marketing tactics and a meeting with a marketing leader. The role was put on hold, and I lost contact with the recruiter who only works seasonally. Months later, the recruiter offered a 3-month contract, which I declined because I had accepted a full-time position.

Had an initial phone screen with HR and then another call with the hiring manager. After that, I was brought in to meet with four other people, including the hiring manager. The team seemed really solid and like a good group to work with. They were good at communicating throughout and were nice and respectful.

Behavioral Technical

I spoke with a recruiter first. We talked about my good and bad points. Then I had to do a skills test on stuff I didn't know well. I didn't finish the test because I wasn't familiar with the tech. I figured that was it. But then, a week later, they called to set up an in-person interview. It was weird, but I was game. About two-thirds of the interview was pretty standard, asking about my background. Then they brought up the skills assessment, asking if I knew anything about that technology. I told them the truth. And that was that. I left kinda confused why they'd even interview me if they wanted deep expertise in that specific tech.

  • What kind of development have you done?
  • Which CMS platforms have you used?
  • Could you confirm your familiarity with the technologies covered in the skills assessment?
