First there was an online assessment with coding and technical parts. Then there was one technical round and one hiring round. Both of these rounds included coding as well as basic behavioral questions. The HR round was very simple.
- Can you tell me something about yourself that isn't on your resume?
Software Engineer
There was a coding round with aptitude questions, followed by an HR round where they asked about my programming languages, specifically Java, SQL, and Python.
- Can you introduce yourself and mention your hobbies?
Associate Consultant
The interview process started with a video resume screening, and the second round involved a presentation. Candidates were required to create a video resume with a title and editing, and if they passed that stage, they had to prepare a presentation on their BTech learning for the second round.
- Tell me about yourself and what you learned during your BTech.
Cloud Engineer
So, the whole interview thingy usually has a few parts to see if you're a good fit. First, you apply with your resume and stuff, then an HR person might give you a quick call to check if you're qualified and interested. After that, there's an initial chat, maybe over the phone or video, with HR or the hiring manager. They'll ask about your background, why you want the job, how you talk, and some basic tech stuff. Then comes the technical part - it could be a take-home project, a coding test, or a live interview where they check how good you are with the tools and solving problems. Next up, you might have a bunch of interviews with different people on the team, your manager, or even people from other departments. They'll dive deep into your tech skills, how you solve problems, ask about past experiences using the STAR method, and see if you'd fit in with the company culture. Sometimes, there's a final chat with big bosses to see if you think strategically and are on board with the company's big picture and future plans. They'll also check your references and do background checks, like verifying who you are and your work history. Finally, if all goes well, they'll offer you the job and you can negotiate things like pay and start date. Once you agree, you start the onboarding.
- What's the update on the interview process, and when is the technical round?
