Analyst
The managers interviewing me were disrespectful, they were on their phones a lot during the two interview rounds. Overall it was a bad experience, I wouldn't recommend it. The office layout was also very dated and strange.
- What salary are you expecting?
- Could you do a financial analysis?
Intern
The interview process was very short, only about 15 minutes long. It focused more on fit questions rather than job-specific ones. Although there were 3 interviewers present, only one actually asked questions. Candidates might have one or two interviews, and the hiring manager conducts the interview directly, bypassing HR.
- Can you elaborate on your past work experience?
- What led you to choose your current university?
- Which industries do you see yourself working in?
Market Maker Trader
First, introduce yourself. Then they went through my resume and asked some questions they wanted to know. There were two people interviewing. One asked some resume questions and the other asked many technical questions. They didn't care whether I could program. They also asked about my motivation and who I want to become in the next 10 years. After the interview, I got an offer the next week.
- Can you derive put-call parity?
- What is the Black-Scholes formula?
- What motivates your desire to be a trader?

The interview process had 3 rounds. The first was a recruiter call where I introduced myself and they talked about the company and team. The second round was with the hiring manager who described the role. The final stage was a panel interview with the VP, hiring manager, and an AVP.
