The interview process was normal, and a second interview was scheduled with HR and the manager. The interview itself went smoothly, but after it was completed, they did not provide a timeline for the next steps. Therefore, I can only wait for an update. I hope they can provide more information regarding the timeline.

Behavioral Technical

This was the worst interview experience ever! I interviewed for a managerial IT position. The technical interviewer had a condescending and provocative attitude, making remarks like, “You don’t know this? Then let’s play something else.” Instead of a professional discussion about architecture and real-world implementation, they focused on trivial questions and made fun of my answers. It felt disrespectful and unconstructive. My advice to management: Interviewers should assess expertise professionally and respectfully, not through humiliation or arrogance.

First up, HR chatted with me to see if I fit in and had the right skills and experience, asking about my past jobs, my goals, and how I'd handle work situations. Then, the senior IT manager gave me a technical interview with some problem-solving and tech questions.

The staffing agency handled the initial stages of this interview. First, I had to fill out an application form (a PDF). Then came some written tests, which included multiple-choice questions on ITILv2 and a scenario-based question, all to be completed within 45 minutes. I was informed there would be two interviews: one virtual and one in-person. The first interview was sort of okay. They began by asking about my background and experience. After that, they asked a lot of 'what if' questions to gauge my reactions. The hiring manager likely expects me to be hands-on with all IT-related tasks.
