I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. We discussed my background, answered some basic technical questions, and went over the daily job responsibilities and expectations for the position. The hiring manager was really friendly and informative, and gave a good sense of the company's dynamics.

HR Interview: phone call, 20 min. Hiring manager interview: Meet, 30 min. Panel interview: Meet, 1 hour. One to one interview: on-site, 4 hours. HR follow-up phone call. HR was very unhelpful. Within one week, for the same position, I was reached out twice by HR for my interest in this position after the final interview. I showed my interest, however, I was not offered finally. JHR emailed me that the team is happy to make me an offer and I provided a personal document but after four days I was declined for this position. I was declined three times for this position within a week.

You'll be interviewed by 3 people who will be your colleagues, so make sure to be friendly and honest. Basically, just be yourself and don't lie. I got this advice from someone, and they were right: be honest and be yourself.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process had two rounds. The first round was a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager, which was a good, general discussion about the work. The second round was 3 hours long with 4 team members, and each person had 45 minutes. The first three team members were great and it didn't feel like an interview. However, the fourth team member's questions were rude, unclear, and she seemed to lack knowledge about her work. She presented a screen with fields like RUN NAME, RUN LENGTH, ATTACHEMENTS, PATH, and then another screen. When I asked about the requirements for this screen, she didn't respond. I tried to explain by creating test case steps based on what I saw, but she wasn't satisfied, which made sense since I didn't have the requirements. When I discussed regression testing in response to her question, she reacted with surprise, as if she didn't know the product she was working on.
