The interview started with a phone call where they asked basic questions about running a team, how I prepare for meetings, and general experience questions. The second interview specifically asked about my biggest SEO win, which I found a bit challenging given my 8 years of experience managing accounts.

Technical Case Presentation

I applied through Braintrust and was approved. They then asked for my portfolio, which they didn't like because it had data visualizations from 2021. After that, they gave me a case study using a Google demo account, which took me over 3 hours to complete. I received an automatic feedback today. The Braintrust people were also taking too long to respond. Strangest of all, this leadership position is part-time, which seems unrealistic given how important data is and the complexities of managing people.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The whole thing took about two weeks. First, I talked to HR, then the CEO and senior leaders for three rounds total. I also had to do a short presentation, which I could pick the topic for as long as it was relevant to the job, and a personality test. I had a great time talking to everyone and felt like they really loved their jobs and the company. The questions were direct, and HR gave me a good heads-up on what to expect for each chat, so I was well-prepared.

  • Can you tell me about your strengths and your most significant accomplishments?
  • How do you embody a mindset of constant improvement?
  • Describe a challenge you encountered in a past role and how you overcame it.
