It was a panel with 4 people from SKM, a mix of HR and engineering folks from the team I'd be interning with. They were nice, which made it easy to chat and answer their questions. A recruiter put me forward to the company without me seeing an advertised role, they just reached out to see if they needed someone with my skills. I got brought in pretty fast (in a few days) and talked with the senior engineer who would be my tech lead, and the team leader. The interview was quite chill and just seemed to be verifying my CV details. I had another interview the following week with the section manager, which was also just a simple meet and greet. I had offers from two other companies around that time, but I wasn't sure about them. When I told SKM about this (that I needed to reply to them soon), they moved quickly to give me a competitive offer. I wasn't trying to start a bidding war, the salary was comparable, but I took SKM's offer because I felt their culture was the best fit for me.

- The hardest part for me was figuring out something valuable to ask, since I know it's really important in an interview to show interest in the company and that you've done your homework.
