Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sinai Health.
Research Assistant
We did an initial screening call, and then had 3 more interviews. One of the interviews, they repeated the same questions but the Principal Researcher was present. Questions were a mix of education and experience on relevant tasks.
- How do you deal with a disagreement with your supervisor?
Research Assistant
It was a multi-stage interview process. The last interview was tough and I found it distracting because people were typing the whole time. I got a nice message from the hiring manager afterwards.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you helped resolve a conflict within a team?
Research Assistant
It was a short interview, starting with an initial call and then a meeting with the doctor and the rest of the team. They asked about my experiences and how they relate to the lab's work. It was pretty easy, just make sure you research the lab and their current projects beforehand.
- Why are you interested in this particular lab?
