Product Manager
The interview process was really smooth and positive. There wasn't any unnecessary take-home assignment or anything that felt unreasonable. It involved in-depth skills-based interviews with both Product and engineering leadership. The recruiter team was great and supportive throughout. The whole thing took about 2 months from the initial recruiter call to the final offer.
- Describe how you would design LinkedIn's algorithm for recommending open jobs to users, and what key factors would influence this recommendation system?
Software Engineer
So I went through the whole interview process, which included technical, managerial, and HR rounds. I even sent over my salary slips and experience letter. Everything seemed to be going well, with positive feedback all along. But then, out of the blue, I got rejected at the very end with some really vague reasons. If there were any issues, they should have been brought up way before the final stage. It felt really unprofessional to be rejected so late, like they didn't respect my time and effort.

Data Scientist
This role involved a 4-round interview process. Kicked off with a technical round covering ML, DL, and Transformers. Following that was a take-home assignment where I had to build an end-to-end RAG application. The next round was a discussion about the take-home assignment, evaluating the RAG pipeline I built. Finally, I had a discussion with the Tech Lead, which included resume-based questions and a short coding question on Backtracking.
- Regarding the projects you've undertaken, did any of them go into production?

Account Manager
I was contacted by an outside recruiting agency through LinkedIn by three different people. I was initially contacted by the first recruiter but was traveling for work and didn't respond immediately. Then, two more recruiters from the same agency contacted me within a day of each other. Believing they had found a strong match in my profile, I researched the company and replied to the last recruiter to schedule a call. However, the recruiter did not show up for our scheduled meeting. I reached out via LinkedIn, and they explained they were having connection issues and wanted to reschedule. During the rescheduled meeting, I was met by the first recruiter who had initially contacted me, not the one I had been communicating with. She asked a series of questions that she went through very quickly, and the entire conversation lasted only about 15 minutes. She assured me that I could reach out with any questions throughout the process. After we discussed the next steps, I never heard back from them. I followed up several times and was completely ghosted. In my sales career, such behavior would not be acceptable. As a recruiter, you need to sell candidates on why they should work for the company. Hounding someone for an interview and then ghosting them only wastes their time and creates a negative impression. It's a shame because I don't even know if my information was ever passed to Simpplr.
