Customer Support Specialist
Got referred in by someone, sent in my stuff, and then the recruiter got back to me in about two weeks. Did a first phone screen, then went in for a few hours of interviews. It had three parts: some hypothetical 'get to know you' questions, a problem-solving bit that felt intense and kinda confusing, and then a culture chat over lunch. I figured I messed up the problem-solving part and wouldn't get the job, but they offered me the position right there. Everyone on the team was pretty nice and welcoming, so don't let the intense parts scare you too much. If you've got basic common sense and focus on the customer, you'll be fine.
- Can you share an instance where you tried something and it didn't work out?
Customer Service Representative
So, a company found me through a website and reached out, which was super exciting since I didn't even have to apply. They set up a phone screen via email. We scheduled a time, but when it came, no one called, which was pretty unprofessional. They sent another email apologizing and rescheduled. The person who finally called was late, and I didn't like his vibe. I thought I nailed the questions, but the next day, he emailed saying I wasn't qualified. The whole thing felt really unprofessional.
- What does good customer service mean to you?
Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty chill process. There were two interviews and then they made an offer. It was a basic customer service interview with some questions asked over video. The team seemed really friendly and supportive. The whole thing took about a week to get an update.
- Tell me about a difficult technical problem you've solved.
