I had an in-person interview at their headquarters, meeting back-to-back with 5 different people, mostly managers. It was a lot to handle all at once, but I appreciated that they involved so many people to make sure I'd be a good cultural and skills fit.

I met with the team lead and then met the VP. Both meetings took place over zoom. It was the standard interview process and all done virtually. Overall it was a positive experience. I did not receive an offer.

System Design Behavioral

The interview process was going fine until I met the VP of engineering. He immediately asked me a system design question about a symptom and wanted to know the cause and how to improve it, without any introduction. I suggested a likely cause, but he dismissed it, saying he'd never seen that before and I was wrong. Three weeks later, HR hasn't followed up, so I assume I didn't get the job. I feel this company isn't open-minded and the interview was a waste of my time and money.

The interview process was long and took a lot of my time. Even though I have experience in .NET, Angular, SignalR, and WCF, the interviewer seemed to dismiss my skills without really checking them. It felt disorganized and unprofessional. Candidates should expect a long process and maybe some bias when they evaluate your skills.
