AI/ML Engineer
There were 2 rounds in total. The first was a general screening where they checked my knowledge of LLM, RAG, CNN, and LSTM, and then I had to solve some Python problems. The second round was with the manager, which was pretty straightforward. He asked similar questions and about my personal career journey.
- Can you explain how you would assess the performance of a RAG application's output?
Software Engineer
It was a 2-round process. Both rounds focused on DSA. The first round had 2 medium LeetCode questions, and the second round had 2 medium-hard LeetCode questions. We also talked about my past projects and work, and any challenges I faced there.

So the interview process included questions about AWS Cloudwatch Lambda EC2 VPC and some project-based stuff. Then we got into Linux and shell scripting and how to do deployments with EKS, ECS. We covered setting up CloudWatch metrics and alarms, and Lambda function triggers and event sources. Discussed EC2 instance types and pricing, VPC subnetting and routing, Linux file permissions, and shell scripting for automation. They asked about EKS cluster creation and scaling, ECS task definitions and services, CloudWatch log retention, and optimizing Lambda cold starts. Also covered EC2 security groups/NACLs, VPC peering/endpoints, Linux process management, and shell scripting loops. We talked about EKS node groups, ECS Fargate vs EC2, CloudWatch custom metrics, Lambda environment variables, EC2 spot instances, and VPC NAT gateways. Finally, Linux package management, shell scripting for backups, EKS ingress controllers, ECS load balancer integration, CloudWatch dashboards, Lambda IAM roles, EC2 instance storage, VPC flow logs, and Linux cron jobs were discussed, along with shell scripting for log analysis.
- Can you tell me about AWS VPC and CloudWatch, and also some questions about your projects?
- Tell me about your experience with AWS VPC and CloudWatch, plus some project-based questions.

The hiring process was really unprofessional. HR and management misled me, saying I was hired and agreed to my salary expectations. After three interviews, HR scheduled another call, claiming it was a session with the line manager. However, the manager proceeded to ask interview questions, making it a fourth interview lasting over an hour. The next day, HR called again, attempting to deceive me by saying there was a session to introduce me to the team. Shockingly, another person asked interview questions during this supposed introduction. After the fifth interview, I expected an offer letter but received no response. My advice to management: if you're not satisfied, move on and find the right candidate; you've wasted a lot of my time.
