First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Simon Property Group.
Office Administrator
It wasn't bad, two interviews and they were fairly easy and not long. The interviewer was easy to talk to, very conversational. It was a quick process too. I heard back within a week with a job offer.
- Can you tell me about your background as it relates to your resume?
Administrative Assistant
Applied online, then got a call with basic questions about my experience. They said they'd call back in a few days to schedule more interviews after looking at resumes. A few days later, they called and asked me to interview the next day. I had two one-on-one interviews, one with the office manager and another with the marketing director. After those, I had to fill out a background check form. They also asked when I could start because they need someone quickly. They were interviewing the rest of the day and would decide by the end of the week.
- Can you explain how your previous experience aligns with the requirements of this role?
- Have you worked in marketing before?
Administrative Assistant
I sent my resume in response to the Craigslist ad. The office administrator emailed me back with an interview time for that same week. It was a relaxed, open interview where she explained the job duties fully. She asked me a few basic questions about my ability to adapt to change, my enjoyment of customer service, my computer skills, and my biggest weakness. She then instructed me to complete their online application and take an assessment.
- How do you handle change?
- Do you enjoy customer service?
- What computer programs are you familiar with?
