First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Simmons Foods.
Intern
The interview process was much more laid back than anticipated. The people I was interviewed by were very friendly. They asked me to ask them questions more than the other way around.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What makes you a good fit for this company?
Supply Chain Analyst
The interview process was straightforward. The recruiter was helpful and communicative, making a typically stressful process much more pleasant. Everyone I interviewed with was friendly and made me more enthusiastic about potentially joining Simmons. The whole experience, from the initial call to the offer, wrapped up in 3 weeks, despite it being a busy holiday period.
- What makes you the ideal candidate for us?
- Please elaborate on your experience and its relevance to this position.
- What motivates your interest in this particular role?
Shipping Supervisor
The interview experience was really good. The shift managers were nice and polite. They answered all my questions and weren't weird like many interviewers. You gotta be ready to look them in the eye 'cause they stared me down hard. So, if you're interviewing, put on your poker face and show them you mean business.
- What made you apply for this position?
Production Supervisor
It was a good experience overall, though it took some time to get contacted after applying. The interview itself was a group session involving the Shift Manager, Production Superintendent, Operations Manager, and HR. Following the interview, I was given a tour of the facility.
- What behavioral questions did you prepare for?
