I was given the choice to pick a time that worked for me before the interview, which was nice. But they didn't say the interview would be in English, which was a surprise since the job is in Israel. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand so I could have prepped. On the day, I got an email asking to move the interview to the same time the next day, and I was fine with that. The recruiter joined without her camera on because she wasn't feeling well, and I was the only one with my camera on, so it was a bit awkward. She was nice though and told me a lot about the company and the job. She also asked for more examples of my work, which I sent right away. She said I'd hear back by Monday, but it's been over two weeks and I still haven't heard anything, even after I emailed them. So, even though we had a good chat, the silence afterwards made me unsure about how they handle things.

The interview process started with a phone call with the VP of Design. We talked about me and what I'm looking for, and they explained the job. About a week later, I went to the office for a one-hour in-person interview with the VP of Design and the VP of Product. The first 30 minutes involved me presenting a project from my portfolio. The next 30 minutes was a whiteboard session where I was asked general questions about presenting information, which became more complex over time. Finally, I had a good HR interview.

The hiring process began with a phone interview, followed by a design brief that I invested significant time and effort into completing to the best of my ability. Subsequently, I had a final interview focused on the design brief with the product manager. Both interviews went well, and I received positive feedback on my execution of the brief. After this, I waited. Ten days post-final interview, I inquired about the status and was informed they were still interviewing other candidates and it might take a while. I expressed continued interest regardless of the outcome. A month after the final interview, I followed up again and learned the position had been filled. I felt they should have provided professional feedback on my application. Overall, the experience was disappointing, a waste of time, and unprofessional, which was unexpected from a prominent tech company.
