Customer Success Manager
I went through 4 interviews in total: one with a recruiter, my direct manager, the VP, and an on-site presentation. The whole process was quick and efficient. Although I didn't get an offer in the end, I still thought it was a good experience. The Prague office is growing and they're planning to hire hundreds more people in 2025.
- From a Customer Success perspective, what's the most important thing to remember when dealing with clients?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward: a first round with HR, a second round with the hiring manager, and if you made it, a third round where you'd need to give a presentation. Unfortunately, my experience with Similarweb was disappointing. After my initial chat with HR, I had a really positive and professional interview with two hiring managers. HR later told me the feedback was overall positive and asked for my updated resume and salary expectations. But after I sent the details, I got nothing back for over a week. My follow-up emails were ignored until I finally received a generic rejection email. One of the hiring managers, who was on sick leave, was kind enough to follow up, but this really should’ve been handled by HR. I get that I might not have been the right fit, but it’s frustrating to be left hanging after investing time and effort. If I wasn’t suitable, why ask for more info? A simple and honest response would’ve been fine. As one of the interviewers pointed out, hiring isn’t just about assessing candidates—it’s also about how the company comes across. Poor communication like this doesn’t leave a good impression. I hope Similarweb works on this to avoid similar issues in the future.

Customer Success Manager
After a friend referred me, someone from Acquisition reached out to set up an initial interview. The meeting was canceled last minute with no explanation. I followed up politely, showing I was still interested and flexible, but never heard back. It was disappointing not to get a response. Not thinking about the candidate pool and ghosting doesn't look good for a respected enterprise company.
