Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SimilarWeb.
Account Executive
It was very straightforward, fair and professional. The questions were good, very organized, and there was a good balance between challenging vs relevant exercises. Overall I enjoyed the interview process greatly and would recommend it.
- What do you value most in a sales organization?
Account Executive
I had an initial recruiter call, then the recruiter set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter was pretty unorganized and slow to respond when trying to schedule follow-up meetings, which was frustrating because the times she eventually confirmed were already taken, forcing us to reschedule and restart the process. The manager's interview was intense. After that, I had a face-to-face interview where I had to do a presentation to showcase my skills.
- What was the hardest part about getting ready for a presentation with your products?
- How do you deal with people not showing up on time for calls, from the recruiter to management?
- Tell me about the biggest challenge you faced when preparing to present our products.
Account Executive
The interview process felt pretty all over the place and then I never heard back. When I answered questions professionally, the interviewer actually laughed and told me my answers were too structured. It wasn't a professional interview experience at all – after I answered with real passion, I felt laughed at.
- How do your friends see you?
