Quality Assurance Engineer
It was a four part interview process. First, there was an aptitude round with questions ranging from easy to moderate. Next, a coding round with hard questions, tailored for the specific role. After that, a technical interview, which was moderate in difficulty. Finally, an HR interview that focused on communication skills and real-life scenarios.
- Can you describe some real-life testing scenarios?
Senior QA Engineer
I applied online and got a callback from HR within 24 hours. After the HR round, they scheduled my technical and non-technical rounds. The technical round was one-on-one and covered everything technically based on my resume experience. Then came the non-technical round. My interview status was updated after completion, and I received and accepted the job offer.
- Can you describe real-time challenges you've encountered in past projects?
Software QA Engineer
The interview focused on assessing knowledge in software quality assurance. Key areas covered included the testing life cycle, various testing approaches, fundamental testing concepts, the distinction between QA and QC, defect management, achieving product quality, validation versus verification, test coverage strategies, test planning, and specific testing types like API and security testing.
- Can you describe the basic testing life cycle?
- What testing approaches should be considered?
- Are you clear on testing fundamentals?
