so, like, the interview process had 4 rounds. first there was an aptitude test and then a technical interview. after that, another technical interview and finally an HR interview. both the aptitude and the first technical round were multiple-choice questions. the second technical round had 13 sections, with a major focus on AWS.

I applied to my university's virtual recruitment drive. The first round was an aptitude test with multiple-choice questions on English grammar, sentence framing, and basic math. Shortlisted candidates then took a second, cloud-based multiple-choice exam covering AWS, DevOps, operating systems, basic Linux commands, and other cloud topics. After the exams, there was an interview round that lasted 290 minutes, which felt unfair. The interviewer seemed to misunderstand my resume, asking about using Amplify on an EC2 instance when I mentioned 'Amplify'. They also asked me about data structures and algorithms (DSA), unlike other candidates who weren't asked DSA questions or AWS questions, even though I'm an AWS Certified Solutions Architect with only a year of DevOps experience. I felt judged unfairly compared to others. I also learned that Simform only converts about 30% to 40% of interns to full-time roles.

So the interview had four parts. First, there was a machine test for technical skills. Then, a second technical interview. After that, a managerial chat about leadership. Finally, an HR talk to seal the deal.
