First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Simantel Group.
Project Manager
I had two interviews, the first was with HR and the second was with the hiring team. It was a straightforward process with situational questions in the second interview. The whole thing was pretty fast and I enjoyed it. They responded within a couple of days.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you share some examples of how you would handle specific situations?
Media Planner
The interview was really professional and organized, felt like a good conversation. First, there was a quick HR call to go over my background, why I was interested in this job, and what I was hoping for next. Then, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and some team members. We dove deeper into my experience with media planning, how I approach campaign strategy, and working with different teams.
- Could you describe a recent campaign you were responsible for, from its beginning to end, detailing your strategy, the channels utilized, and your approach to measuring its success?
Project Planner
So the interview process had 3 parts, with 2 being online and 1 in person. First you talk to HR, then you meet your potential boss, and the last part is you'll be given a mock project to plan and then present your strategy to a group of interviewers.
- Can you share an example of a project you have managed before?
Digital Media Strategist
I applied in Feb and got a reach out a few days later. Then, two weeks later, I had a 30 min phone interview with two employees. Another two weeks later, I went to the office for an hour interview with two others, who were very personable. They asked situational and personality questions. After the interview, they gave me a tour and I was sold on the culture. About three weeks later, I came back for a third interview to give a presentation to three employees. It was hard to get feedback since it was a new process for them. Finally, a month after my third interview, I got rejected. The whole process was lengthy and info about the timeline was hard to get, but it was otherwise a good experience and the team members were great.
- Can you share an example of a campaign you managed that did not succeed?
