Engagement Manager
It was a lengthy interview process with many interviews, but overall, they were all positive experiences. One part involved a case study where I had to create a kickoff deck, which was pretty straightforward if you have prior experience. There were plenty of chances to ask questions. I also met with the leadership team, who were very approachable and made the interviews comfortable. The company seems dedicated to finding the right people, not just filling positions, which reflects the leadership's commitment to a strong company culture. Visiting the NYC HQ was also enjoyable; it has a startup vibe with cool amenities and a young, energetic atmosphere.

Engagement Manager
The interview process was really tough, but in a good way. I think I met with about 7 or 8 people in total over several rounds. After those initial interviews, they gave me a Statement of Work (SOW) and I had to put together a client kick-off presentation. I then had to present this to a panel of three people from Silverline, and it was like a role-play situation. Following that presentation, I had three more interviews.
- The panel at the kick-off presentation asked a lot of questions about agile methodologies.
- They also asked questions related to project management principles.
Engagement Manager
A Silverline recruiter reached out on LinkedIn about an Engagement Manager/PM job. After I sent my resume, I had a 30-minute phone interview within a few days, which seemed to go well. I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week. I sent a thank-you email and later got an email from someone else at Silverline taking over for the first recruiter, who was leaving. The new recruiter asked for a debrief call. We spoke for about 20 minutes a couple of days later, and she asked the same questions as the first recruiter, mentioning the previous notes weren't available. We ended the call with her saying she'd call me at the end of the following week. I sent a thank-you email, and she confirmed we'd 'chat' the next week. After a few weeks passed, I sent a follow-up email but heard nothing back. I'm not really upset about not moving forward, just a bit annoyed that there was no follow-up as promised. A simple email would have been fine if they weren't interested, which says a lot about the company.
- What are your travel expectations?
