Solutions Consultant
The interview was very relational and warm, conversational, and interactive, not at all threatening. They asked about my last work experience and looked for related skills, both technical and staff, that would predict success. They also assessed my capacity for learning new skills.
- Can you share an instance where you managed relational conflict in a previous role?
Content
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with two interviews in total. The first interview was likely a screening, and the second one involved meeting with both the department supervisor and the CEO. They were both really professional and nice. A key piece of advice I'd give is to get any important details discussed during the interviews confirmed in writing before accepting an offer. Even if it seems minor, it's always best to have things documented to avoid any misunderstandings later on. Overall, the experience felt very professional, just as you'd expect from a good company.
- If you had the chance to swap lives with anyone, who would that person be and what's your reasoning?
- What sparked your interest in applying for this role at our company?
Customer Success Manager
I applied through Zip Recruiter and was contacted quickly for a phone interview. The interviewer was great and thought I was a good fit. Then, I had to do a long survey that was all about sales, which took way longer than they said it would. After that, I got an email saying they chose someone else. They still seem to be hiring for the job though. The company's software has been buggy lately, which is bad for their customers. They don't communicate updates well, and the product doesn't seem to work as advertised.
- Can you tell me about your ability to manage your time and projects?
Customer Success
3 rounds total. The first was a phone call, and the next two were in person at the Portsmouth office. Mostly behavioral questions to see if you'd be a good fit for the company. No skill-based questions to prove yourself, but it is mainly simple data entry. The focus is on you as a person, and not being a negative influence in the workplace.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a conflict and how you handled it.
