First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Silver Airways.
Ramp Agent
The interview process was quick and straightforward. They primarily wanted to know if I was reliable and could arrive at work on time. They discussed the compensation, benefits, and explained how the ramp operates. They also covered teamwork to ensure we could get breaks and avoid standing in the sun constantly.
- Are you able to lift 100 lbs?
Flight Attendant
Applied online through employer website (adp), had a phone interview/screening. Phone interview was a series of yes/no questions and why you picked Silver Airways. Afterwards if selected you get selected for a face to face interview at the headquarters in Hollywood, FL. That interview is more in-depth but also laidback, a lot of have you ever dealt with this and how did you overcome it. If you pass that interview then you get an offer letter. If you don’t receive an offer letter you will not receive a rejection letter.
- Have you ever had a disagreement with a coworker or manager and if so, how did you manage it.
Flight Attendant
The hiring process was quite straightforward. After I applied, an HR representative contacted me within two days to schedule an in-person interview. They followed up with an email containing a substantial 32-page document that needed to be completed and brought to the interview. The interview environment was notably relaxed. It began with a brief quiz and a company overview presentation. I recommend researching the company's history and values beforehand. Following the presentation, there was a one-on-one session where they informed candidates whether they were selected or not. Although I felt I performed reasonably well, I was not successful and received a rejection letter the next day.
- What qualities define an ideal flight attendant?
- Provide three words that describe you.
Financial Analyst
It started with a phone interview, then an in-person interview, which was pretty straightforward. The manager is really smart, so be ready for anything. After you finish with the director of finance, you'll speak with their second in command, who is also very smart and will ask pretty much the same questions. Overall, it was a good experience, and I learned more about the company. This might help me in future interviews.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company?
