First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Silk Technologies.
Solution Architect
I had the Hiring Manager interview, then an HR interview, followed by a peer technical interview. After that, I interviewed with the Regional Sales director, and finally the President. The whole process took about a month. It went pretty smoothly, especially considering they were heading into the company kick off at the time.
- Were you asked Hyper provider and storage technical questions?
- Tell me about your experience with the sales process.
- We have a lot of questions about startup experience and culture.
Quality Manager
I don't like the interview process and it was a very bad experience for me. There was lots of partiality and I don't like the environment. The way they treat the employees is also very bad.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Can you tell me about your internship experience?
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
Sales
I went to the office, shook hands with the interviewer and sat down. They asked me about my sales background, so I told them about my best wins and how I beat my targets. They also asked some tough questions about dealing with clients, which I handled well. It ended with a smile and a "We'll be in touch." I felt good leaving.
- Could you tell me about your previous employment history?
Product Manager
I went through six interviews: first a recruiter screener, then talks with the hiring manager, head of product, and two sales engineers. The final round was an in-person presentation to the hiring manager, head of product, and another head of product, focusing on my experience with cloud software. Throughout, there were standard questions and time for my questions. The recruiter was great at keeping me updated on what was next and setting up follow-ups. After everything, the head of product checked my references.
