I got noticed for this role from a meetup I attended while I was looking for a job right after college. They reached out on Linkedin and did a phone screen and an informational chat before I came to the office. I had two in-person interviews with a few people. For the first, two software developers and the recruiter interviewed me, and for the second, I had Skype interviews with the DC office. Both went really well and were more focused on work ethics and problem-solving approaches rather than strict technical skills. Everyone was really nice and helpful, and we had some great conversations. The only drawback was that the whole process took more than ten weeks. There were about two to three weeks between each interview. Things only picked up significantly when I told them I had another offer.

Behavioral

I got a call from HR for a phone interview after applying at a school career fair. The first thing they did was ask me for a general self-overview, but they didn't seem to like my resume summary. They sounded disengaged and kind of adversarial about my community college degree before my 4-year one. The call was 15 minutes but felt longer, with no technical questions, and the interviewer seemed uninterested and annoyed from the start. It was the worst interview I've had.

The interview process involved a recruiter phone screen, followed by a technical and behavioral screen with the hiring manager. The final round was a video interview with senior engineers and the office manager. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I'd recommend the company.
