I went through two or three rounds of interviews. The HR team was good about communicating. The interviews were technical, and they asked questions based on my previous work. They assessed my knowledge, how I answered, and my approach to the questions.

The first interview was with the recruiter, and it went well; the recruiter was friendly. They asked basic questions about my preferred office location and my availability for tax season hours. I haven't heard back from the recruiter since the interview.

Had an intro call and then three interviews. The whole process took about a month or so. Questions about my experience and knowledge. After speaking with the partner, which went very well, I was told I would receive a status update within 48 hours. I proceeded to follow-up two weeks later in which HR said they are still making a decision. I followed-up again just to get feedback and haven't heard from the partner or HR since. I was really surprised to be ghosted by a Company of the pedigree. I couldn't tell you what happened. Very unprofessional.

Technical Behavioral

Had an initial call with a recruiter who just went over the benefits and asked me a few technical questions. When I asked technical questions about the position in return, I was told that I would have to ask the hiring manager those questions (assuming I would be chosen to proceed to a 2nd round interview). The initial phone screen call seemed very rushed and the recruiter seemed frazzled. I ended up getting a 2nd round video interview with the Director of Security. It seemed to go well but at several points he was looking at another screen and typing. I felt that this was very unprofessional as I was responding to a question he had asked and he was not paying attention to me. He told me that I was the 1st of several candidates they were interviewing, and that I would hear back "soon-ish". I emailed the recruiter afterwards to ask for his email address so I could send a thank you email, and never received a response. After several weeks, I decided to check my online application status only to find that my status had been changed to "Not Selected". I never heard anything back regarding the position and as to why I was not chosen. Overall, an unprofessional experience and they were not respectful of my time or effort I put in to the interview.
