Product Manager Intern
I had a case interview where I had to create outdoor lighting for Philips Hue, and I also had to do a competitor analysis. I was given one week to prepare for this. I explained my concept for the outdoor lighting, identified its competitors, and detailed how I obtained the competitive information. Following that, it was a standard interview where I discussed myself, the role, and what's expected.
- In three words, how would you describe yourself?
Product Manager Intern
First, you'll get a case study. In the interview, the managers will introduce themselves, then you'll talk a bit about yourself. After that, you'll share your research on the case study. They'll ask more position-specific questions. Finally, you'll ask them questions.
- What significance do customers hold for you?
- Describe your perspective on product management.
Product Manager
Two interviews: A phone call with HR to understand our expectations and school constraints. One with the manager to assess motivation, and our knowledge and skills related to the desired position.
- What are your thoughts on the industry from a technical standpoint?
- Could you tell me about your background?
- What motivates you to pursue this role?
