The interview process was quite long, but everyone I met was genuinely nice and friendly. I'd recommend brushing up on your Excel tricks and tips before you go in. It would also be beneficial to have a solid understanding of commercial and industrial (C&I) lending practices.

A third-party recruiter found me and helped me apply to Signature Bank. First, I had a phone interview with HR. After that, I had an in-person interview with the VP of Compliance, my future boss. About a week later, I got a job offer with a salary increase of about 40%.

I was contacted by someone from Talent Acquisition who wanted to set up a phone interview. It turned out to be a Zoom meeting, which was basically a standard phone screen. We had some good synergy, and she told me she was hiring for a role that would report to her. It was a nice chat, and she said I'd be interviewing with some other people. After the Zoom meeting, I sent a thank you email, but then I never heard back from her. I sent a follow-up email for an update and still nothing – no decline email or anything.

I had a phone screen with the recruiter and then they set up an hour zoom interview later in the week with the hiring manager. I waited 15 minutes on the zoom meeting for someone to join but nobody did. I emailed the recruiter and the hiring manager to confirm that time still worked and they responded shortly after saying there was a scheduling issue and had to reschedule. The meeting was rescheduled and I had the video interview... however never heard back from anyone and was ghosted. Seemed very unorganized and an overall poor process.
