First, there was a quick phone call to see if we'd vibe and answer any questions about the company or job. Then, I went in person for another chat. It was pretty relaxed and I learned a lot. The company seems to be growing a lot and has a great team feel. The leaders there seem really committed to making a place where people can do their best work and grow.

Behavioral Presentation

I met the owner and his assistant, and we went over my resume. They offered me three positions, and I picked a sales management one, even though it wasn't what I originally applied for. Since our talk went so well, the owner said he was thinking about putting me in a role that they hadn't planned on filling for a few months. I went back for another interview with more staff, and we toured the place. It all seemed good, and they said I'd hear back in a day or two. But then, nothing.

It was a pretty standard job interview, nothing too wild. They mainly wanted to know about my graphic design strengths, my software skills, and if I'd done any printing work before. No actual tests, though. We also talked about what extra value I could bring to the company, and finished up with the usual Q&A.

I had an interview where I first talked to HR about my schedule, family, and how I get to work. Then I met with the owner. Later, they called me to offer me the job and we talked about salary on the phone.
