The interview process was alright. The second round, which was an in-person interview with the CEO, David Elkington, had me waiting for about 30 minutes to an hour past the scheduled time. The CEO was late and just blamed his scheduler for the mix-up. It was quite unprofessional.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you write a parking ticketing system, using either in-code or pseudocode, that handles car sizes (small, medium, large) and issues tickets accordingly? It should prioritize assigning small cars to small spots, and if those are full, assign them to the next available open spot. Please implement this logic for all car sizes.

I spoke with the Director of Client Success. First, he gave me a rundown of the company and the job itself. Then, he asked me some basic questions about my background. He also asked what superhero power I'd choose and why. He then asked me to talk about a real-life hero or mentor, including their strengths and weaknesses. After that, he turned it around and asked what my mentor liked and didn't like about me, which was a tough one.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you tell me about some strengths of your mentor or hero?
  • What are some areas where your mentor or hero could improve?
  • What positive things did your mentor observe about you?

Showed up to the interview and went to a conference room. Was asked some good questions but also really pointless ones like brain teasers and “gotcha” questions. I interviewed with the “CSM director” and was supposed to interview with the the COO? He didn’t show. Bad experience.
