First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Signallamp Health.
Clinical Case Manager Nurse
So I went through the usual onboarding stuff, which included an interview and then some clinical questions and a mock assessment. After that, I got an offer, but the pay was a bit low, so I negotiated and they came up with a better offer. The final offer came through email.
- Could you discuss the signs and symptoms associated with hypertension?
- What educational points would you cover with a patient diagnosed with hypertension?
- Regarding UTIs, what are the typical signs and symptoms to look out for?
RN Care Manager
The first interview was mostly about the job itself and why I'm interested in it. They also wanted to know why I thought I'd be a good fit and what experience I have that would be beneficial. We discussed what I knew about the company, and they explained the core responsibilities of the position.
- Could you describe some of your personal qualities that would be beneficial for this position?
Licensed Practical Nurse
There were 2 interviews. The first was with the recruiter, which included usual scenario questions like dealing with a difficult patient. The second interview was with the clinical manager and lasted about an hour. It focused on clinical questions about pharmacology, prioritization, and patient scenarios involving diagnoses, medications, and symptoms. The job involved remote patient monitoring for over 200 patients monthly per nurse, focusing on high Latinx populations. I was offered $24/hr for a bilingual position, with no bilingual incentive or sign-on bonus. I declined because I've had better offers with higher pay and those incentives. LPNs can earn more, even in remote roles.
- What are your strengths, weaknesses, etc.?
- Can you discuss your pharmacology and medication knowledge?
- Given a scenario with patient symptoms, how would you assess and proceed?
Chronic Case Coordinator
The process was smooth and easy, with Zoom interviews for both rounds. The first interview was with HR, and the second was with the RN coordinator who oversees all the chronic nurse case managers. The second interview was more focused on critical nursing skills, education, and so on.
- Tell me about your interest in working for this company.
- What is your proudest accomplishment in your current nursing position?
- What are your thoughts on teamwork?
