The interview process started with an online test that included a mix of aptitude and python coding questions. This was followed by a technical interview focusing on machine learning concepts, live SQL coding, and some quesstimates. Finally, there was an HR interview, which was more managerial and straightforward.

So, there were 3 rounds total. First was a technical interview where they asked about my projects. Then there was a second round which was a case study and overall fitment, and finally, an HR round with behavioral questions. It felt like a medium-level interview and there were some programming questions too.

Technical Case Presentation

The interview process involved a technical interview, followed by a case study and discussion. It covered ML concepts. We started with an initial exploratory discussion, then moved to a case study (a classification problem), and finally explained the concepts used in the case study. It should be straightforward for someone with substantial Data Science experience. The main difficulty I perceived is their adherence to a specific answer, expecting your solution to align perfectly. The interviewers seemed less experienced, and I, having conducted over 50 interviews myself, found them uninterested in hearing my perspectives. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

  • Could you answer some scenario-based questions?
  • Under what circumstances would you choose F1 Score, Precision, or Recall Score?
