My experience interviewing with Sigma was great. They communicated clearly and kept me updated, which I appreciated. The process included an initial HR call, an interview with the Project Manager, a technical interview with a coding task, and final interviews with the client. Everyone was professional and seemed interested in my experience. Although I didn't get the offer because the client went with someone who applied earlier, Sigma left a good impression, and I'd consider working with them again.

Technical Behavioral

It started with a recruiter call, then a technical interview covering general front end skills and project management. After the second interview, I was ghosted. I also got ghosted by the recruiter when I followed up. This company was incredibly disrespectful and lacked basic manners. It's not that hard to show a bit of humanity and send at least an automated email saying 'you were not selected' after people invest their energy and time in a stressful interview process. You're a software company, you can figure out how to do that, I trust you!

For people looking at Sigma Software, or an example of "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." I didn't know Sigma Software before, but I thought they were professionals. I applied for a job that had a big test assignment, taking more than 8 hours. I did it well. But instead of feedback, I got a short message that they had chosen someone else. Best practices for recruiters: If a job needs a long test, and you expect candidates to spend a lot of time on it, it's polite and professional to give feedback on the work, even if you already picked someone. This shows how professional a company is. I hope Sigma Software fixes this. For me, whether I tell others about the company or apply again depends on this experience.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter for a technical writer with Devops position, under the CEO's supervision. The recruiter seemed unfocused, initially asking for a call and then disappearing for a week, claiming she missed my LinkedIn message. When she reconnected, she had a list of questions, followed by some yes/no ones, and then asked about my availability for a call. However, the call never happened, and she didn't respond to my follow-up text. This whole experience felt unprofessional and disrespectful of my time, making me hesitant to recommend this workplace.
